Behind Digital builds BehindCourt (venue desk software for open play, queue, scoring, rental booking, and lobby boards) and OnCourt (court video recording and clip delivery by email). Contact: bthescences@gmail.com.

When a club or venue runs BehindCourt or OnCourt, that venue decides what player and staff information to collect and how long to keep it. The venue is responsible for telling players and staff how their data is used on site.

Behind Digital provides the software and, for OnCourt, related clip-delivery services described below. We do not use venue player lists for our own marketing.

BehindCourt is local-first. Day-to-day play data (sessions, queues, scores, staff accounts, branding, rental bookings on the venue computer, and similar records) is stored on the venue’s computer and local network, not in a Behind Digital cloud console for multi-venue management.

Venues should download backups from Settings regularly. We do not provide automatic offsite backup. If a venue computer fails without a backup, history can be lost.

License activation may involve a hardware identifier and related license details so we can issue and support a venue license. Support requests you send us (email, repair proof, unique IDs) are used only to help with that request.

OnCourt records court video when staff or players use Start / Stop on a court tablet, with cameras and the club computer running as described in product docs.

After a recording, players may enter a name and email on the tablet so a download link can be sent. Players do not need to create an account or install an app. That name and email are used to deliver the clip and related delivery status, not to build a marketing list for Behind Digital.

Clip files and download links may be stored with cloud storage and email providers needed to deliver the video. Venues should only collect emails they have a clear reason to use for clip delivery, and should follow their own venue policies for how long clips are kept.

When you browse this site, standard web logs may record technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate time. We use that to keep the site working and secure.

If you email us or request a quote (venue name, location, court counts, notes), we use that information to reply and discuss licensing. We do not sell contact details.

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use BehindCourt floor data or OnCourt player emails for third-party advertising.
• BehindCourt does not rely on email-based staff invites or password-reset emails; temporary passwords are shown on screen at the venue.

We may share information with service providers who help us run email, hosting, or clip delivery, only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of our users and systems.

Quote and support emails are kept as long as needed to handle the request and maintain business records. Venue-held BehindCourt data retention is controlled by the venue’s own backups and policies. OnCourt clip and email retention depends on the venue’s configuration and the storage and email services in use.

Venues should keep the club computer, Wi-Fi, staff passwords, and backups secure. For services we operate (this website and clip delivery paths we control), we use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Our products are built for pickleball clubs and venue operators. They are not directed at children under 13. Venues that serve minors should follow their own rules for collecting names, emails, or video.

Players and staff should contact their venue first for access, correction, or deletion of data stored on that venue’s BehindCourt computer or OnCourt recordings.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or products after an update means you accept the revised policy.
